CME milk futures fall and cash dairy flat Tuesday
Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange were sharply down and cash dairy was mostly flat .
August Class III milk was up $.02 at $16.17. September finished down $.29 at $17.31. October closed down $.37 at $17.20. November was down $.23 at $17.60. December through February contracts ranged from one to twenty-seven cents lower with December taking the biggest drop.
Dry whey was unchanged at $0.52. No sales were recorded.
Blocks up $0.01 at $1.78. Two trades were made at $1.77 and $1.78. Two trades were made at $1.77 and $1.78.
Barrels went up $.01 to $1.49. Six trades were made from $1.4850 to $1.50.
Butter was unchanged at $1.69. No sales were recorded.
Nonfat dry milk was unchanged at $1.26. No sales were recorded.
