Forty-one percent of South Dakota corn was in fair condition as of Sunday. About 30% was good and another 30% was poor.

Corn silking is on pace with normal.

Soybean conditions are just slightly better than corn in all categories.

Nearly 7% of beans are setting pods, behind last year but close to the average.

Sixty-six percent of sorghum in the state is fair to good. Nearly 80% is headed, above normal and the average.

Pasture and rangeland conditions are still more than 80% in the poor categories.
