The College Search Kickoff (CSK) has provided 24 years of elite competition under the watchful eyes of hundreds of scouts from all divisions of the college ranks and the serendipitous connection will again be played out on the premier fields of the Muscatine Soccer Complex this Thursday through Saturday (July 22-25).
The CSK invitational showcase has provided youth soccer players the opportunity to be recruited to collegiate teams since its inaugural year in 1996. Soccer teams and college coaches alike will return to Muscatine for the 25th Anniversary event this week after a recruitment hiatus in 2020.
Amazing competition showcasing soccer players from all over the Midwest and beyond will take place in Muscatine’s backyard with girl’s teams playing on Thursday and Friday (July 22-23) and boy’s teams playing on Saturday and Sunday (July 24-25). Colleges from all academic and athletic levels will be represented including NCAA Divisions I, II, and III plus NAIA, NJCAA and independents.
Top Student Athlete Recruiting representatives will also be in attendance to assist prospects with questions about maximizing their exposure, saving on college costs, and facilitating the recruitment process from start to finish.
The Muscatine Parks and Recreation Department staff works diligently to host this annual showcase. The Parks and Recreation office will close at 12:00 p.m. Thursday and Friday to accommodate the event.
