The Muscatine County Fair gets underway today at the fairgrounds, highlighted by the return of stock car races.
Admission to the fairgrounds is $6 for everyone 16 and up, and $4 for 5 to 15 year olds.
The racing begins at 6:30 p.m. and includes Late Models running for $1,000 to the winner, Modifieds $700, Sport Mods $400, Stock Cars $400, and Four Cylinders $200. Tickets to the grandstand are $15 adults, $5 for children. Pit passes $20, with the gate opening at 3 p.m.
