Infrastructure vote in Senate could be Wednesday

Majority leader Chuck Schumer reportedly said Thursday the U.S. Senate will vote on the bipartisan infrastructure package next Wednesday.

The agreement is nearly $1 Trillion dollars for traditional infrastructure improvements over the next five years but the text of the bill has not been finalized.

At the same time, the Senate is working to complete a 3-and-a-half Trillion dollar budget resolution for Fiscal Year 2022 that is expected to focus on “human infrastructure” funded by tax reforms.
