Muskie Youth Soccer Camp gives kids chance to develop skills August 9-11

Soccer players in the second through seventh grades will have the chance to learn or build on their skills during the Fourth Annual Muskie Youth Soccer Camp August 9-11 at the Muscatine Soccer Complex. The camp is conducted by the Muscatine Parks and Recreation Department.

Members of the state-qualifying Muscatine High School Girls Soccer Team will be on hand to lead player instruction and skill drills.

All skill levels are invited to register and participate in the camp where boys and girls will learn new techniques while building on the fundamentals of play.

Age-appropriate skill drills will be offered in small groups throughout the three-day camp. Second through fourth grade participants will play from 8:30-10:00 a.m. while fifth through seventh graders will play from 10:00-11:30 a.m.

Registration for this activity is underway so do not wait to reserve your spot. Sign up today for the fourth annual Muskie Youth Soccer Camp for a registration fee of $6 per camper. A tee-shirt is included in the price of registration.

Registration will be facilitated through the Muscatine Parks and Recreation office in the lower level of Muscatine City Hall, 215 Sycamore St., Muscatine. Registration can be completed in-person, over the phone, or online at https://apm.activecommunities.com/muscatine/Home.
