Great Lakes YEN now open

The Great Lakes Yield Enhancement Network is now accepting applications for farmers growing winter wheat in the Great Lakes region and Ontario for the 2021 to 2022 season.

The program connects farmers with others and their crop data to better understand how to increase yields.

Information collected includes soil, tissue, and whole plant analysis for network benchmarking to encourage by-field management improvements.

The Great Lakes YEN (Yield Enhancement Network) launched this year in partnership with Grain Farmers of Ontario, Michigan State University, Michigan Wheat Program, the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, and the University of Guelph.
