More moisture in the forecast for the Mid-South

Much of the Delta has been hammered by rainfall and Brownfield meteorologist Greg Soulje says that’s not likely to change anytime soon.  “it’s going to be overtly wet and staying wet,” he says.  “In what promises to be a very wet, moderately busy, but wet foreseeable future and weeks to come.”

Soulje says his models show the Mid-South will likely be the epicenter for rain systems in the coming weeks.  “I do not see much improvement to water-related or wet-ground issues, or crop quality,” he says.  “No improvement to those cotton fields.”

He tells Brownfield he’s also expecting an above active tropical storm season this year.
