The Muscatine Police Department advises that parking will be at a premium around Central Middle School on Friday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. due to a dance recital.
These events tend to bring in a large crowd which could lead to traffic congestion on Mulberry Avenue and Cedar Street. Police said parking on those streets will be at a premium and may be difficult to locate.
Officers will be enforcing parking ordinances within these areas during the event, including any and all restricted parking within fire lanes.
Drivers are asked to be patient and allow for extra time when traveling and parking around the area.
