Here are a few things you should know about KBRB:

How long has your station been on the air?  

Feb 6, 1968, KBRB AM 1400 went on the air. FM 92.7 was added in 1983, and the FM translator for AM 1400 at FM 106.3 was added in 2018.

How long have you been a Brownfield affiliate?  

Over 30 years, not sure as we were an affiliate prior to my ownership of the stations in 2009.

KBRB provides news, weather, sports, and entertainment to north central Nebraska and South Central South Dakota.

Tell us about your community involvement.   

KBRB is involved in virtually every aspect of the community, from reporting on public meetings, providing coverage of area sports teams, reporting live during severe weather, and promoting community activities and events.

Tell us about any involvement you have, or coverage you provide, to any agriculture related groups.  

KBRB is a member of the Nebraska Farm Bureau and the Sandhills Cattle Association, provides a weekly on-air interview with representatives from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Extension, and keeps listeners informed with agricultural news issues.
