National FFA Convention to return with in-person event and virtual program

The National FFA Convention will return this fall in Indianapolis.

The National FFA Organization has announced that the event, which traditionally brings more than 65,000 attendees, will take place Oct. 27-30.

Expected in-person events include general sessions, the American FFA Degree Ceremony, Career Success Tours, competitive events, delegate business sessions, entertainment, the National FFA Expo and shopping mall, student and teacher workshops, and the National Days of Service.

There will also be a virtual program with student and teacher workshops, the virtual FFA Blue Room, National Days of Service, and the streaming of general sessions.

The convention was solely a virtual experience in 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The National FFA Convention and Expo is returning to Indianapolis this year as part of the organization’s long-term hosting partnership with the city that runs through 2033.

More than 760,000 student members belong to nearly 9,000 local FFA chapters in all 50 states and Puerto Rico.
