Here are a few things you should know about Double K Country:

How long has your station been on the air?

KNEM-AM went on the air in 1949 while KNMO-FM went on the air in 1985.  The two stations had separate owners until the late 1980’s. The two stations have been simulcast since then.

Too long to remember.  I’m not sure of the dates since I took over ownership the first of 1998 but it was long before that.

We are very active with the Vernon County Youth Fair each year providing daily coverage during the length of the fair both on site and from out studios.   We give good coverage to our local University of Missouri Extension offices helping to promote their services for agriculture.

Anything else you would like to tell us?
