How long has your station been on the air?
KNEM-AM went on the air in 1949 while KNMO-FM went on the air in 1985. The two stations had separate owners until the late 1980’s. The two stations have been simulcast since then.
How long have you been a Brownfield affiliate?
Too long to remember. I’m not sure of the dates since I took over ownership the first of 1998 but it was long before that.

Morning Agri-Business News, Morning Livestock Report, Midday Agri-Business News, Brownfield Commodity Settlements & Managing For Profit
Tell us about the services your station provides.
We’re a full-service radio station that is committed to coverage of local news and events along with providing entertainment during the day and night. We work hard to be the local source of information through our on-air and online outlets.
Tell us about your community involvement.
We have staff members that are involved in the community through different organizations. Radio wise, we assist several organizations with fundraisers and other needs.
Tell us about any involvement you have, or coverage you provide, to any agriculture related groups.
We are very active with the Vernon County Youth Fair each year providing daily coverage during the length of the fair both on site and from out studios. We give good coverage to our local University of Missouri Extension offices helping to promote their services for agriculture.
What other Learfield IMG College networks or services are you affiliated with?
Missourinet and Missouri Tiger Network.
Anything else you would like to tell us?
We’re very pleased with our affiliation with the Brownfield Network. Being in an agriculture based area we feel it’s a valuable product to be able to provide our listeners!
