Slow Brazil soybean harvest extends U.S. export window
The markets are closely tracking a slower than normal soybean harvest in Brazil.
Dr. Michael Cordonnier with Soybean and Corn Advisor in Hinsdale, Illinois, says weather has been a problem all year. The growing season started off dryer than Brazilian farmers preferred, resulting in delays. Now, he says it’s too wet and harvest is lagging. Cordonnier says this is welcome news as the U.S. continues to export to China.
