Equipment dealers ask Biden to consider rural impacts of policies

Infrastructure along with regulatory and tax reform are among the top issues the Equipment Dealers Association is asking the Biden administration to prioritize.

In a letter to the President, the group reiterates the need to invest in rural infrastructure the Rebuild Rural Coalition is asking for to maintain the nation’s agricultural competitiveness internationally.

They also want the President to maintain the final Waters of the U.S. Rule saying the current regulation has restored a proper balance between state and federal rules.

As for tax reform, the association is urging the administration to reconsider proposed tax increases on several tax measures which they say would jeopardize many family businesses.

The group also wants the President to reverse his Executive Order to terminate the Keystone XL pipeline, saying ending the project has a profound negative impact on affected rural areas.
