President Biden on climate change and COVID-19
Newly sworn-in President Joe Biden says taking on climate change is one of the nation’s many challenges he will prioritize.
“A cry for survival comes from the planet itself. A cry that can’t be any more desperate or any more clear.”
In his inauguration speech, Biden also said his administration will focus on healing the nation from the effects of COVID-19…
“A once-in-century virus that silently stalks the country. It’s taken as many lives in one year as America lost in all of World War II.”
Many ag groups have put climate change mitigation in their policies and are urging food and food processing workers be in a top tier for COVID-19 vaccinations.
