The president of Iowa Farm Bureau hopes reports of Tom Vilsack returning to lead USDA are true.
Craig Hill tells Brownfield he has a lot of respect for the former Governor of Iowa who served as Ag Secretary under President Obama.
“I think he respects and appreciates farmers. He’s been our governor (and) governors make for excellent cabinet members (because) they are always prepared, as Sonny Perdue has been prepared in his role as U.S. Secretary of Ag.”
Hill says Vilsack would be an excellent choice by President-elect Biden.
