Cotton harvest wraps up in Arkansas

Arkansas harvest is nearing completion according to the final crop report of the season.  While cotton harvest has wrapped up, soybean and peanut harvest are 98 percent complete.   

Heading into winter, pastures are rated 28 percent good to excellent.  Vegetables are rated 70 percent good to excellent.  Ninety-five percent of the winter wheat crop is planted, and 89 percent is emerged. 

Ninety-five percent of Topsoil and ninety percent of Subsoil are called adequate to surplus.
