Eron family named 2020 Wisconsin Aldo Leopold Conservation Award winners

A Central Wisconsin farm family has been named the 2020 Wisconsin Aldo Leopold Conservation Award. John and Melissa Eron were recognized by the Sand County Foundation, the state ag board, and Farm Bureau for conservation practices that recycle water, utilize cover crops, and prevent nutrient runoff into the Mill Creek and Wisconsin River watersheds.

The other four finalists for the 2020 Leopold Award were Mike Berg of Blanchardville, Charlie Hammer and Nancy Kavazanjian of Beaver Dam, Brian Maliszewski of Independence, and John and Dorothy Priske of Fall River.
