Nebraska’s corn harvest nears the finish line
This week’s crop progress report shows only four percent of Nebraska’s corn crop remains to be harvested.
Winter wheat condition rates 39 percent good to excellent, 37 percent fair and 24 percent poor to very poor.
It’s still very dry. Topsoil moisture supplies are rated 64 percent short to very short with subsoil moisture called 70 percent short to very short.
