Only three percent of Iowa’s corn crop remains to be harvested, most of it in south central Iowa.

The corn harvest continues to run more than two weeks ahead of the five-year average.

Only scattered fields of soybeans remain to be harvested.

Topsoil moisture is rated 42 percent short to very short with subsoil moisture rated 55 percent short to very short.
