West Liberty vs. Camanche: preview

The West Liberty Comets (6-2) travel to Camanche (8-1) Friday with a trip to the UNI Dome on the line. This is a rematch of a game from back in late September where the Indians won 20-0. These two teams are coming off close victories last week. Camanche beat Tipton 35-29 to continue their 8 game winning streak. West Liberty, on the other hand, blocked a field goal and returned it for a touchdown to knock off undefeated Williamsburg.

The Comets are led on offense by junior  running back Jahsiah Galvan. He has run for over 1,500 yds and 12 TDs. Defensively, the Comets are led by a pair of tackling machines in Galvan and Drake Collins. The two have accounted for almost 100 tackles this season and have been disrupting offenses all season.

On the flip side, the Indians have three standouts on offense. Quarterback Mike Delzell has thrown for over 1,800 yds and 18 TDs. Cade Everson has run for over 1,300 yds and 16 TDs. Lastly, Jordan Lawrence has racked up 60 catches for almost 800 yds and 12 TDs. Defensively, Camanche has a pair of game wreckers in Eric Kinkaid and Zayne Feller. Kinkaid has 79 tackles on the year, with 13 of them coming for loss. Feller has tallied 64.5 tackles, 11.5 for loss and 1 int.
