Farmer says he’s pleased with dicamba announcement

Southwestern Indiana Farmer Mark Seib says he’s pleased that the EPA approved the reregistration of dicamba.

“We have used dicamba in the past and found it to be a very useful tool,” he says.

But, he says he still has concerns about volatility.

“We don’t want to see any of our spraying or any of the work we do leave the farm,” he says. “…we don’t want to see it drift off and do damage to somebody else’s crop.”

Seib, who grows corn and soybeans in Posey County, says it appears the EPA has worked to address volatility and he’s hopeful that will help the industry.
