CME dairy prices mostly up Monday

Milk futures and cash dairy were mostly up to start the week at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Monday. 

October Class III milk was up $.04 at $21.42.  November was up $.73 at $21.65. December was up $.75 at $19.48  January was up $.49 at $17.76  The milk futures from February through next September ranged from $.15 cents higher in February to four cents lower in September. 

Dry whey was unchanged at $.3875 cents per pound.  No sales were recorded.

Forty-pound blocks were up $.02 at $2.74 per pound. One sale was recorded at $2.75.

Barrels were up $.05 at $2.2550 per pound.  Three sales were recorded from $2.2425 to $2.2550.

Grade AA Butter was down $.0125 at $1.4975 per pound.  Two sales were recorded from $1.4975 to $1.5025.

Nonfat dry milk was unchanged at $1.14 per pound.  One sale was recorded at $1.1375.
