In Arkansas 83% rice and 30% cotton harvested

Harvest continues to progress across the state of Arkansas.  Rice is 83 percent harvested with 100 percent of the crop mature.  Cotton harvest is 30 percent complete.  Soybean harvest is 38 percent complete with 73 percent of the crop mature.  Corn harvest is 94 percent complete. 

Sixty-four percent of peanuts have been dug with 19 percent harvested and 93 percent is rated good to excellent. 

Alfalfa is rated 54 percent good.  Vegetables are rated 70 percent good to excellent.  Twenty percent of the winter wheat crop is planted and 7 percent is emerged. 

Seventy-nine percent of Topsoil and 80 percent of Subsoil are called adequate to surplus.
