22% of Indiana corn, 30% of soybeans harvested
The USDA says rain helped replenish topsoil moisture levels in Indiana last week.
As of Sunday, 22 percent of corn is harvested. Eighty-three percent of the crop is mature and is 62 percent is rated good to excellent.
The soybeans are 30 percent harvested. Ninety percent of the crop is dropping leaves and 64 percent is rated good to excellent.
Twenty four percent the winter wheat crop is planted, and three percent is emerged.
