Missouri corn and beans maintain favorable ratings

Missouri’s corn and soybeans are maintaining their mostly good to excellent ratings. Missouri corn, as of Sunday was in 74% good to excellent condition. Corn dented was at 91 percent, ahead of average but corn maturity, at 25%, was behind the five year average. One percent of corn is harvested.

Missouri soybeans are 73% good to excellent. Soybeans setting pods progressed to 95 percent, a little ahead of the five year average. But beans turning color and dropping leaves are a bit behind.

Cotton progress is behind the five year average. Condition is mostly fair to good. Rice headed reached 99 percent. Condition of rice is mostly fair to good.
