NASDA Board of Directors adopt new strategic plan
The National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA) Board of Directors adopted a new strategic that will guide the association for 2020-2025.
NASDA CEO Barb Glenn says it sets an ambitious course for members and will build on annual policy work.
“Our new mission is to grow and enhance American agriculture through policy, partnerships, and public engagement,” she says. “I think it puts our members in a leading position for the future of food and ag policy.”
She tells Brownfield there will also be a focus on building resiliency for rural America.
“We have a focus of calling on the next administration to work with us on several areas to renew a commitment to rural communities,” she says.
NASDA represents commissioners, secretaries, and directors of the departments of agriculture in all 50 states and four US territories.
