How long has your station been on the air?  Since 1946 on the AM and 1967 on the FM side.

Tell us about your community involvement. KSIB Radio is proud to meet the needs of our rural landscape that is Southwest Iowa. KSIB Radio is the areas source for live parade covereage, live sporting events, and extensive county fair coverage.  2020 has been an interest year to say the least, but KSIB was there to provide music for our “Virtual Prom” for our high school kids who had their prom cancelled.  We are also excited about being able to offer the annual KSIB Tractor ride, where we have approximately 300 tractors each year.  The riders appreciate this FREE ride where we  travel to different communities in our area each year.  The KSIB Radio Cruise Night and Car Show event continues to be a favorite in our community, as the classic cars fill the streets and remind folks of the “good ol’ days” of cruising in uptown Creston.  We also partner with our area service clubs (Kiwanis-Rotary-Lions) who put on a BBQ meal and make an average of $2500 each, as a fund raiser, for their clubs.

Tell us about any involvement you have, or coverage you provide, to any agriculture related groups. KSIB Radio works with FFA and 4H kids with our County Fair Tour.  We also work with 4H and/or FFA kids who record PSAs to promote Ag Week, FFA Week, 4H Week, Beef month promotions, Pork Month promotions, and Farm Safety.  We also have FFA kids who help line up tractors during our annual Tractor Ride.

What other Learfield IMG College networks or services are you affiliated with?  KSIB Radio works with the University of Iowa and Iowa State University football broadcasts each year.

Anything else you would like to tell us? KSIB Radio is proud to be locally owned and family oriented.  KSIB Radio helps to sponsor many local events throughout the year and loves to give back by helping out in our communities.
