Iowa’s corn rating continues to fall
Iowa’s corn rating continues to fall.
The good to excellent rating on corn is 50 percent this week, down nine points from last week. At the other end of the scale, the percentage of corn in the poor to very poor categories increased four points to 21 percent.
Soybean condition also fell again this week with the crop now rated 56 percent good to excellent.
The pasture rating fell ten points to just 23 percent good to excellent. The third cutting of alfalfa was 68 percent complete.
