University of Illinois Agronomy Day tours available on line

For the first time the University of Illinois is hosting its annual Agronomy Day event virtually.

The 63rd annual event kicked off today featuring recorded video presentations from researchers with the College of ACES and Extension specialists. Four virtual presentations and tours are now available that highlight herbicide resistance in waterhemp, plant breeding, nitrogen management and the future of the SoyFACE research facility. Additional tours and presentations will be added through September 10th.

Event chair Allen Parrish says while they are disappointed people cannot experience their findings hands-on this year, they remain committed to sharing critical research with the farming community.
