There are opportunities for soy despite COVID-19 challenges
Like many events in 2020, the United Soybean Board meeting took place virtually today because of COVID-19. USB Chair Jim Carroll says although there are challenges, technology is providing opportunities for soybeans.
“This virtual thing right now with us reaching some of these buyers is the way we need to go,” he says. “…We’re really unlimited on who we can reach, and I think that may broaden us.”
The Untied Soybean Board’s nearly 80 farmer directors will also select soy checkoff investment programs for 2021.
