West Liberty City Hall closed after visit from customer with COVID-19

West Liberty City Hall remains closed until Thursday for deep cleaning after a customer with COVID-19 visited Monday afternoon.

City Hall staff will be available by phone and email to handle questions and/or transactions during this time.

“On Monday at 2:30 p.m. the front office served a customer who willing communicated they are positive for COVID 19 to include their family,” the city said in a Facebook post. “City Hall office was cleaned immediately but in order to continue to mitigate further spread the office will be closed for three days.”

Customers can pay online, drop box, mail or by phone. If you need assistance or have questions with any services please contact City Hall staff during business hours at 319-627-2418 Monday through Friday 8:00am until 4:00pm.

Please do your part and stay at home when you are sick or not feeling well.
