Syngenta to build new Illinois facility
Syngenta announced Friday plans to build a seed research and customer center in northern Illinois.
The Dekalb county site is meant to host large events to showcase corn and soybean technology and innovation. The site was chosen for its soil type and ease of accessibility.
Construction is expected to start early next year and is scheduled to open in 2022.
