Online livestock auctions provide alternative market for youth
The Michigan-based national non-profit Ag Community Relief has created an online livestock auction for youth unable to exhibit fair animals this summer because of COVID-19 cancelations.
Youth in Illinois, Kansas, Michigan, and Missouri will be able to market large livestock including cattle, sheep, and swine during July and August through this new platform.
DVAuction and Osborn Barr Paramore have partnered with the group to support the auctions which will be state-specific.
