The Muscatine Children’s Choirs will offer a different kind of Music Camp experience this summer at Wesley Church, through the month of July. Wesley United Methodist Church Sanctuary, 400 Iowa Avenue. Registration fees are $5 per child per session.
Campers who have completed grades 3-6 will gather on the grass in front of the Wesley Family life Center on Tuesdays from 9:30-11:30. Grades K-2 will meet in the same place on Thursdays from 9:30-11:00.
Registration will be limited to 10 campers per session and four staff. The MCC want to include as many families as possible on as many days as possible, so please indicate first, second, third and fourth preferences of dates. They will accommodate as many of your dates as possible according to your preferences, but please understand that we want to include as many children as possible.
Preferences will be accommodated on a first come, first served basis. They will notify families as to their assigned dates.
This approach is a departure from their traditional summer Music Camp, but, due to the COVID-19 outbreak, this seems the best and safest solution. They will observe disinfecting and social distancing protocols. More instructions will be forthcoming on those points upon registration.
