Groups target Enlist Duo herbicide

The same environmental and food safety groups that targeted dicamba have another herbicide in their sights.

They’ve asked the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals to vacate the registration of Enlist Duo, a 2,4-D-choline and glyphosate premix herbicide. The product was originally registered by Dow Agrosciences and is now owned by Corteva.

In the Enlist lawsuit, filed in 2017, the plaintiffs claim the herbicide violates the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act and the Endangered Species Act.

The 9th Circuit is the same court that handled the dicamba lawsuit. The Enlist lawsuit is under a different panel of judges who reportedly have information to make a decision at any time.
