The market’s not too concerned about prevent plant chatter
Water-logged areas of Illinois and surrounding states saw some heavy rains again over the weekend.
It’s prompted some social media chatter about prevent plant, but market analyst Arlan Suderman with INTL FCStone says it’s not something the market is too concerned about at this point.
“I think we’ll see more chatter about prevent plant. Will it be enough to bring the balance sheet back into balance? Probably not, but if you combine that with some increased demand, it does leave you a lot more vulnerable if you do get a possible weather scare during the summer,” Suderman says.
