Wednesday’s guest on Moving Forward was Muscatine Mayor Diana Broderson. Speaking with Amy K on Moving Forward, Mayor Broderson discussed the continued practice of social distancing and mask practices. The Mayor continues to follow the guidelines set by Governor Kim Reynolds and will have an update on opening back up on May 15th. The number of Covid-19 cases continues to rise in Muscatine County as well as the death toll. Mayor Broderson says the only way to combat the rising number of cases is to continue to shelter in place, wear a mask when having to go anywhere essential, and to wait out the virus as best one can.
