Tennessee crops: 35% corn, 8% soybeans planted
Wet conditions limited field activity in Tennessee last week. Thirty-five percent of the state’s corn crop has been planted and 13 percent emerged. Eight percent of soybeans have been planted. Ninety-five percent of the winter wheat crop has jointed and 58 percent headed. Sixty-two percent of the crop is rated good to excellent.
Eight-four percent of apples are in full bloom.
Sixty-two percent of pastures are rated good to excellent.
100 percent of Topsoil and Subsoil are called adequate to surplus.
