Farmers can use many different methods to get micronutrients to the crop. WinField United agronomist Jon Zuk says most of the time it starts with a dry product blended in with macros like nitrogen or phosphorus during the fall or spring.
Depending on the method, he says there can be certain benefits or limitations. And Zuk encourages growers to always consider the return on investment.
