USDA extends deadline for annual P&S Act filings
The USDA has extended annual report filings under the Packers and Stockyards program to July 15th, in-line with actions taken under other parts of the federal government as the spread of COVID-19 continues to impact daily life across America.
To ensure farmers and ranchers are federally protected, all livestock dealers, live poultry sellers, meat packers, and market agencies are required to file annual reports under the Packers and Stockyards Act of 1921.
