Home improvement chain Menards will no longer allow children under 16 or pets into stores in an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19.

Children who look younger than 16 will be asked for identification, the company said on its website. Pets are also prohibited from stores, but service dogs are welcome.

The chain has also adjusted hours, open from Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday 8 p.m. to 7 p.m.
