NASS data collection continues despite COVID-19
The coronavirus has created circumstances that are simply unprecedented. Tom Steever spoke to Bob Garino, Missouri State Statistician, National Agricultural Statistics Service, who echoes what most people are dealing with. He and most other USDA personnel are working from home, but up and down the food supply chain, people cannot do that, and Garino says it’s especially important now to document what’s produced.
