The threat of severe weather around Muscatine appears to have dissipated, but severe storms have moved across parts of eastern Iowa and into Illinois over the past several hours.
A tornado watch remained in effect until 9 p.m., as clusters of thunderstorms continued to produce damaging winds and very large hail, along with the threat of tornadoes that could be significant and have long-tracks.
