Minnesota Congressman Collin Peterson is thanking farmers
for protecting the well-being of Americans.
The House Ag Committee chairman issued a statement on
National Ag Day (Tuesday), saying the coronavirus outbreak has made us all more
aware of how important the people who produce, distribute, cook, and sell our
food are to the health of the country.
He says the Ag Committee has always been proud to stand up for food and agriculture in Washington, but today that role takes on even more meaning as we honor and thank the farmers and ranchers who anchor that system.
