COVID-19 concerns cancel Dairy Expo

The Central Plains Dairy Expo is canceled. The city of Sioux Falls, where the expo was to be held March 24th through the 27th, declared a state of emergency limiting gatherings in the city to less than 250 to avoid spreading COVID-19. Organizers say the I-29 Moo University Dairy Beef Short Course, which is planned for the Tuesday of Expo week, will still be held but will transition to a webinar format this year. The online format has removed restrictions on attendance because of room size and seating limitations so additional registrations can be made.
