MUSCATINE, Iowa – Violet J. Walker, 95, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2020, at Lutheran Homes.
There will be a private burial at a later date.

Violet was born on December 13, 1924, in Muscatine, the daughter of Arthur and Martha Beane Dollman. She married Robert G. Walker on February 20, 1947, in Muscatine.
Those left to honor her memory include her two children, Larry G. Walker and wife, Tina, of Muscatine, and Marilyn McCleary of Muscatine; six grandchildren, Valerie Walker, Kory Kies and her husband, Tony, Morgan Walker-Herlein and husband, Brandon, Brandi McCleary, Teresa McCleary, and Vern McKim; and six great-grandchildren, Gracelyn Kies, Caden Kies, Layla Kies, Madison Herlein, Lauren Herlein, Tyler McKim, Bethanie McKim, Cody McKim, Drea Shannon, and Bree Shannon.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Robert, in 2008; one brother, Newell Dollman; great-grandson, Landon Russell Kies; and great-granddaughter, Ava Marlene Kies.
