Kathleen “Kathy” S. Tobias, 64, of Muscatine, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2020, at Lutheran Living in Muscatine following a short battle with cancer. Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on February 22, 2020, at the Snyder and Hollenbaugh Funeral and Cremation Services, formerly the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home. Inurnment will be in the Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date. A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in memory of Kathy. Kathleen Sue Tobias was born on November 16, 1955, in Muscatine, Iowa, the daughter of David William and Elsie Alberta (McKillip) Tobias. Kathy received her Associates Degree from AIB. She worked many years for Dive Paradise in Cozumel helping many families with vacation and dive packaging. In her younger days, she enjoyed bowling and playing pool and more recently had taken a liking to crochet and jewelry making.
Kathy will be missed by her sisters, Mary Kirk of Muscatine and Carole Logan of West Liberty; nieces and nephews, Heather (Steve) Dusenberry, Terri Logan, and Corey Phillips; great-nieces and nephews, Korie Gafeller, Aarin Gafeller, Connor Logan, Lincoln Hesby, and Ronin Hesby; special cousin Larry (Julie) Strause; lifelong friend, Joanne Massey and special Cozumel friends, Sherri and Alfredo.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents; maternal and paternal grandparents; sister, Judith Eddy; niece, Lisa Rundall; brothers-in-law, Rod Kirk, Sr., Thomas Phillips and Terry Logan and uncle and aunt, Delmar and Elnora Mittman.
