Theresa M. Davis, 58, of Muscatine, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2020, at MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 20, 2020, at the Snyder and Hollenbaugh Funeral and Cremation of Muscatine, formerly the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in memory of Theresa. Theresa M. Salek was born on February 7, 1961, in Muscatine, Iowa the daughter of Louis L. and Helen L. (VanWinkle) Salek. On February 17, 1979, Theresa was united in marriage to Gregory J. Davis in Fairport. She was a nurse’s aide at Muscatine Care Center. Theresa enjoyed scrapbooking, photography, music, helping others, her dogs, but the love of her life was spending time with her family.
Theresa will be deeply missed by her mother, Helen Salek of Muscatine; her children, Christopher R. Davis of Muscatine and Daniel J. Davis and fiancé, Meagan Garner of Muscatine; six grandchildren/ 2 who lived with her Zaidian, Kaelyn Davis. Siblings, Steve Salek of Woodbury, Minnesota, Mike Salek of Muscatine, Peggy (Wendall) Thomas of St. Paul, Minnesota and John Salek of Muscatine; father-in-law, Alvin Davis Sr. of Iconium, brothers-in-law, Alvin Jr. (Robin) Davis, Crystal River FL, Keith Davis Crystal River FL, Terry (Brenda) Davis, Centerville, IA, Scott (Shelly) Davis, Laramie, WY, and best friend/sister-in-law, Laura Hein of Muscatine, and many Nieces and Nephews.
Theresa was preceded in death by her father; husband, Greg; one sister, Nancy Salek and mother-in-law, Rose M. Davis.
