West Liberty, Iowa – Pepón Roman Aragón, 60, passed away December 23, 2019, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
A funeral mass will be held 1 P.M. Saturday, December 28, 2019, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in West Liberty. Visitation will be Friday from 3 to 8 P.M. at the Church. Alejandro was born July 8, 1959, in Ignacio, Allende Durango Mexico the son of Jose and Rosa (Aragón) Roman. Pepón was united in marriage to Maria Zavala. He had been employed at Tyson Foods in Columbus Junction.
He loved spending time with his family, dance, and played the saxophone and guitar, playing soccer and traveling with his family in the summer.
Survivors include his wife Maria, three daughters: Isela, Alina, and Aneth, three grandchildren: Yazlinne, Scarlett, and Leo. Four siblings also survive. His parents and one brother Juan preceded him in death.
